The sun is shining with extreme vigor today in Portland. I can feel the seasons changing right before me. It's such a wonderful occasion to be a part of. I've been biking my ass off today! First I woke up in a bed that was extremely comfortable, meaning only that it couldn't have been my own. Made sure it wasn't torn to shreds before leaving and caught the next bus to SE to start up this beautiful day! Got home, recorded today's podcast, which you can catch everyday at some point, and decided it was too nice to not be out in this weather! Went and traded a mediocre old Korg pedal for some cash at Trade Up music down on Division. I then took my 25 dollars, grabbed a coffee on Hawthorne, got out my sketchbook and worked on some drawings for a bit. Finishing my delicious coffee, I decided to check out the Po-house (Daniel Sikorski's Po-boy restaurant) and see how ol' Danny was doin. He got freakishly busy, really quick... so I went and broke a 20 for him for change and was on my way. Biking home, I decided to try out a new path... I went up 50th as I always did... but decided a couple of streets after Division to take a right into a neighborhood, thinking I'd be able to just take left and travel all the way up to Powell, thus bringing me closer to home... Wrong I was... apparently. I took a left and travelled up (all the way without stopping, mind you) this ridiculous hill, only to find out that there was no outlet and that I would have to vear to the right and go back down... whatever.. nothing was bringing me down today!!! I eventually made it to one of my local neighborhood Bodegas, the "Roll your Own" mart. I bought myself 3 40's.... 1 Mickey's, 1 PBR, and yes... 1 Olde English, of course! I'm now relaxing and contemplating my next move... maybe a drunk-cast... we'll see. Anyway! Be sure and tune in this weekend for Nick's Weekend Loopcast! I'll be plugging in my loop pedal and making up all my music on the spot for my podcasts! HOPE YOU GUYS ENJOY! LEAVE ME COMMENTS PLEASE!! OR... EMAIL ME AT NICKZROBEY@gmail.com!!!

Hello, and welcome to my press page! I'm Nick! I'm a musician and singer/songwriter in Portland, Oregon who is always excited to get out and make music happen!
I moved to Portland in July of '08 from my home of Huntsville, Alabama. I currently work extremely part time, doing a variety of activities so I can put my music first.
I've been a musician my whole life, but started officially when I was about 6 or 7 when I picked up playing the violin. Once I hit my teenage years, I moved on to guitar, piano, bass, and whatever stringed instrument I could get my hands on. I enjoy all aspects of music, be it analog or digital! I am currently playing with a lot of different styles and sounds, and falling in love with all of them. If you're looking for something different, I've got it. Check out my debut album "With Headphones On" available on iTunes and Amazon.com!
